Exchange & liquidity

Order lifecycle

Move from eligibility and immutable preview through approval and private execution reads.

Instrument rules

Capabilities define tick, step, minimums, fees and allowed order types and time-in-force. Market orders require price protection. Use only combinations enabled for the market.

Preview exact terms

POST /v1/exchange/markets/{market}/orders/preview takes stable command and client-order IDs, account scope, side, type, time-in-force and scaled amounts. Retain preview_id and terms_hash. Previewing does not reserve funds or authorize execution.

Request independent approval

POST /v1/exchange/approval-requests references preview_id, preview_terms_hash and the action. An independent checker approves. Dispatch revalidates actors and terms; direct order calls do not bypass maker-checker.

Track canonical results

Use /v1/exchange/commands/{command} for lookup and private order and fill reads for the account. Matching follows price-time priority. Partial fills retain individual fees and references. Matching does not establish settlement finality.
